Discovery Co-Production Platform

Nordic feature films in development

Discovery 2026

Discovery is Nordic Film Market’s platform for promoting feature films in development, facilitating opportunities to discover new Nordic talents and for the projects to connect with co-production and financing partners.

In 2026, 16 Nordic films in development will be presented at Discovery.

As part of the Discovery platform, selected projects are eligible for the prestigious €15,000 Film Finances Scandinavia Award. This cash development award recognises one outstanding project from the lineup, offering crucial support for its continued development. The award is generously presented by Film Finances Scandinavia.

The Discovery presentations and meetings are held during Nordic Film Market at Göteborg Film Festival. The 27th Nordic Film Market will take place January 28–30, 2026.
