Bring the kids!
Bring your children to Göteborg Film Festival. This year, we are making an exception to the usual 15+ age limit that applies to all festival screenings, inviting audiences to three magnificent film experiences to share with younger viewers as well. The titles are Arco, The Secret Garden and Little Amélie, or the Character for Rain.
Children need a cinema ticket but do not require a festival pass.

Arco
A charming, Miyazaki-inspired adventure about a ten-year-old boy from the future who meets a girl his own age in the climate-ravaged world of 2075, where people live beneath protective domes. Together, they fight for the future of the planet—and for the boy's chance to return home—in this visually dazzling and deeply moving sci-fi fairy tale for audiences of all ages.
